Starting Dates of School.

Heyy everyone I'm just wondering when did/do you start school? I know from another board that people started school like a week ago? I don't start school until September 1 because the upperclassmen don't go the first day (Aug. 31) to let the freshmen get the lay of the land without the extra people.

So again who had the earliest first day of school and who has the latest first day of school?

Earliest: July 28

Inbetween: August 7, 10, 14, 23, 28, 29, 31(my school's first day). September 5.


Latest: September 6.

Latest: Tuesday after Labor Day ( I was in second grade)

Woah there! I had just had 3 weeks off by then! When did he/she get off?

We started Aug 7th. I go to a Catholic High School. The seniors get out the 10th of May...so it isn't so bad. All the other grades get out the 24th.

Don't alot of you who go back Sept. 5 get out in June?

Yeah it's pretty cool. Because as a freshman you're wicked (there goes my rhode island accent lol.) nervous. In my school the first day as a freshman we had an orientation then we went to our homerooms for about an hour and go our schedules. Then we searched our way through the school trying to find our classes.
