Started saving for my first ever disney trip

I am saving for this as I'm learning to save money towards a goal as a goal at work
Awesome! I've both saved and charged a vacation, and have enjoyed the saved one much more!

Hoping to teach the kiddos this as well, so I think you are very inspiring!

When I plan my trips, I figure out how much the whole trip will cost. So I figure food, $60-70 a day, resort $150(Movies resort) a day, air flights $300-$600 r/t, I live in the NW. Then add trans to/from SEA airport, right now its $150 o/w and trans to/from resort(??, guessing $40+ o/w). 10 day tkt is about $600. I don't buy souvenirs, and stay onsite.
This give you an idea how much to save. Resorts could have a discount when you go.

Disney trip is not cheap but for me, worth it!

I started saving for my very very first Disney trip I'm not sure how long it will take to save because I'm going through a company that serves individuals with disabilities and it's quite expensive but I'm so excited

Are they charging you anything to book your trip? What special services are they offering? Will they have control over your reservation or will you?

And have you checked out the disABILITIES forum here for help?

they are in charge of everything we will stay off sight I believe and a 500 down payment the trip is 2095 in all not including spending money

Great to hear, good luck saving!

I'm saving for my first solo trip currently- I've worked out how much I need to save per month and on payday I put it straight into my savings account so it can't be touched or spent on other things.

DBug, you're doing a great job! Better than me, actually. I'm going in December and I really have to go around broke for the next few months if I'm to have enough spending money.

Are they charging you a fee to book everything or are they doing it for free? Once you make a down payment make sure you have access to all reservations (save a paper copy and a digital one) What specific services are they offering you that require this special company? Are meals included in your spending money?
