We have never been to Disney World. Can I please have some help with when we have to leave AoA on the bus each day? The crowd level is higher the 1st 2 days because it is the Sun and Mon of MLK JR day but the rest are lower crowd days if that makes a difference.

Day 1 - MK. I have ADR at 8:05 for Crystal Palace but need to prove Canadian residence to enter park. Park opens at 9am.
Day 2 - Epcot. Park opens at 9am. Rope dropping TT then going to FEA and FP Soarin at 10:15. Is that manageable?
Day 3 - HS. Park opens at 9am and setting up Jedi Training 1st then going to TSM and AS. I have FP for SDD.
Day 4 - AK. I have 8:10 ADR at Tusker House. Park opens at 9am.
Day 5 - MK. EMH 8am. No real plan yet. Thought I would see what rides my kids were liking. I have FP for SDMT.

Thanks Any tips appreciated

First off.....congratulations on your first Disney trip! How exciting!! party: I can't speak on the buses as my husband or I drive to the parks because we like being able to come and go as we please and not have to wait. Actually, back in 2011 we did ride the buses a couple of times and we were always on the 7:00 bus for an 8:00 park opening or 7:30 for a 9:00 opening. I didn't mind being SUPER early to the parks. I'd rather spend that hour or more in line BEFORE the park opens than that time in a line after park open.

I'm sure you'll get several here who can help you better with times! WELCOME TO THE DIS!! :wave2:

We are not big fans of waiting in line for the park to open, so we usually aim to be at the resort bus stop at 8:10 am (for a 9:00 opening). If we are lucky and get a bus right away, we can expect to get to the park by about 8:30.

On the other hand, we might have a 20-minute wait for the bus, in which case we get to the park at about 8:50 which will put us toward the back of the Rope Drop crowd.

I would try (my family fights me on it) to be at the resort bus stop 1 hour before park opening. It's amazing how much you can get done in a park right after opening.

Exactly! :thumbsup2 My family is opposite yours. My son is always up early anyway. So asking him to be up by 6 or 6:30 during vacation isn't a big deal. Hubby has weird sleeping habits to begin with so for him, he's already awake waiting for us to get it together!

The morning of your CP ADR get to the bus before 7:00am. That is what we do with an early ADR at CP . Not sure what you need to do/go for the Canadian Residency. If you have an early ADR there is a separate line for those guests. On our last two visits it was on the far left but once it was on the far right.

Thanks Looking forward to telling the kids on Xmas morning our plans. We are doing a Disney cruise after which we have done before so it will a great trip.

Thanks everyone sounds like 7am is a good time, maybe a little earlier the 1st day. We have to prove we are Canadian for the deal we bought, so I'm told I just have to go to tickets before entering the park the 1st day.

My kids won't be a problem, it will be my husband.
