I listened to the podcast before bed last night and just had to know what they were talking about...I can't believe I didn't see this thread sooner!

First off, congratulations on being so strong and keeping your spirits up despite this hard time... You will be in my prayers. I have no doubt that you will pull through this!

Second, congratualtions on winning the cruise! I think that is absolutely wonderful! (Yes, I'm sitting here crying as Iread over this thread...)

Kathy - I'm so happy to read that everything is going well with your treatments. My daughter was diagnosed with thyroid cancer earlier this year. She is doing very very very well - she had to endure the radioactive iodine treatment and had to be isolated from everyone for several weeks.

I'm thrilled to find out that you've won a podcast cruise - there really are angels among us

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm doing well. I watched some movies today and took a LONG walk. I also got to eat regular food for dinner -- no more low iodine diet! I'm so tired of eating fruit and plain unsalted rice cakes. I even got Starbucks.

Thank you again for all of your well-wishes. I want to print out this entire thread so I can read it whenever I'm feeeling down. It is so uplifting.
