Starship Starring Mickey Thomas

Does Mickey do any of his Elvin Bishop stuff or is it strictly Starship material?Thanks.

They do "Fooled around and fell in love" but it's mostly Starship stuff,"We built this city",Nothings gonna stop us now"","Sara",and some older stuff like White Rabbit.This is the one group that regularly plays at both Food and Wine and Flower and Garden festival concerts,I think they've only missed one in like the last decade or so.I must have seen them at Epcot about 12 times.I was going to go to the festival on the first weekend of May which they are playing but then I noticed they're going to also be playing the weekend of the Tower of Terror 10 mile race I'm running in,so I'll skip them for F&G and go see Alan Parsons who I've never seen before the last weekend of the festival.

Agreed - they do "Fooled Around and Fell in Love" but the rest is Starship. However, I wanted to say that this group is in the top five of our all time groups we've ever seen at Disney World.

Mickey Thomas himself is stoked to be there and every single performer is great. We saw them last year or the year before and whoever was doing the Grace Slick parts was fantastic.

Have wanted to catch these guys at WDW but no luck yet. Mickey Thomas still sounds fantastic. Many of his peers are either long-retired or really should be. Judging by youtube vids, he doesn't tune down his songs from their original key. At his age, that's almost unheard of.
