Stars & Motocars Parade...Weird

I just noticed something weird in the Stars & Motocars Parade pictures I took in October. In a lot of the pictures there is a security guard on the other side of the street from where we were sitting giving the "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" sign. Does anyone know what that is all about? Is it some kind of signal to the characters or drivers? Just curious.

What characters are in the picture? You know how they get the crowd to cheer for the "good guys" and boo for the "villians"? Maybe that's it...

Hmmm...never thought of that...you could be right. But somehow I think it was a signal of some type to the characters/drivers because he was mingled in with the spectators and no-one could really see him well. I didn't even notice him until I looked at the pictures (several times). But thanks...that may be all it was.
