Just wanted to add that I love the Gilmore Girls and miss it terribly


I love the epi where Luke makes Lorelei an ice skating rink in her front lawn.
I just love that scene.

Hard to pick a favorite character they are all so good.

I think Emily was played so well. I just love when she tells Lorelei to leave her alone so she can buy her plane!

I know I loved DEAN! He seemed like the only 'normal one" haha.

Well it is season 7 on TV at the moment, so I don't know whether to watch or wait to watch it all from the beginning. Firstly I missed yesterdays, so I have missed the first on of the season and the aftermath of Lorelai and Christopher. And secondly in the past I have planned to watch programmes from the beginning but after seeing the ending I kind of gave up and never got round to watching them. I don't want that to happen to the Gilmore Girls as I want to know everything.

Who would have thought I could have such a dilemma over a TV programme

I never watched it when it was on originally so cannot really miss it in that respects. But I am not looking forward to watching the end episodes though as I don't want it to be over, it will be so sad

I haven't seen the episode with the ice-rink, I cannot wait to see that. I agree, Emily is so good. And the one with the plane is so funny, that is one of my favorites too. I love it how when she gets upset she goes to buy a plane, I wish I could do that

I don't think I know Dean, was he in the earlier episodes

As I started reading your post, I said to myself, yes, I love that one. Then I read the next one you mentioned and said the same thing.
I don't know if I could ever pick out one episode that is my favorite. I just love them all!!

Ok I am so confused. I have looked on IMDB, which is where I found out about the seasons, and it ends on season 7. Now I haven't read the synopsis of the episode as I don't want to know what happens but presumed this was the last one as there is nothing more shown after this. And the last one was called Bon Voyage too, sounding like the end

Ok I promised I would start this up again when I started watching from the beginning, and luckily I got seasons 1,2 and 3 for Christmas. Hopefully that should keep me busy for a while. It is kind of weird watching it from the beginning, seeing Rory much younger and things being a bit different. Anyway I loved the pilot, and it pretty much told you everything you need to know that had happened in the past. Its so nice that the opening credits is pretty much exactly the same on season one as it was in season 7, albeit a few different scene snap shots. I'm glad as I love the beginning, it really shows tha beauty and relationships in the show. The second episode is great too, and Paris is so funny. She looks so much younger and is so horrible. Most of the characters are pretty much the same, with the exception of Suki who is made to be very clumsy, and Luke who keeps going on about environmental issues and how drinking coffee is bad for you. Its kind of strange him being quite different. Anyway I am on the third one with the wedding, which looks beautiful. The Inn is very beautiful then as well.

I cant wait to see how everything evolves, from what it is like to how I know it.

That's great that you got that for Christmas! So much fun to sit down and catch up like that!

Some things are different at first. But it's pretty quick that they become who they are for the rest of the series.

Did you end up watching the last season, or waiting?

I watched a couple, but actually missed them as I wasn't in so that kind of made the decision for me. So I still haven't seen the last few.
