We are hoping to see the Starlight Parade next week. I have been terrified of all the reports and try my best not to watch any parade or fireworks in the hub or near Main Street to stay as out of the drama and crowding as possible. Frontierland is my choice parade spot, but since we have to sit so long I was trying to think of a place that we could view atleast some of the fireworks. I know projections are out of the question, we usually skip them and view back near Gastons. I would appreciate any and all advice on planning for the parade! How early would we need a spot in Frontierland to view 11 pm parade? My main goal is near the planters or area near County Bears where it is not possible for 10 rows of people to push from behind. I would be interested in anywhere tucked in by Liberty Square area but dont watch the parades often enough to be very knowledable. Thanks in advance!!

I have no idea but if you go on a school night I can’t imagine the 11pm showtime being very chaotic.

We did this last Wednesday, but went to the early parade.

For all parades, we’ve got a pretty good spot that we’ve been using since Spectro Magic that hasn’t failed us yet. Wait time was about 10-15 minutes.

The vast majority of the fireworks crowd will works their way up Main Street to be as close to the exit as possible, freeing up plenty of space in front of the castle. You don’t want to miss that projection show.

Our group of 8 grabbed a spot directly in front of the castle pretty close to the front. It was crowded of course but not packed and we probably could have moved up 10 feet or so if we wanted to. Wait time was around 20 minutes.

After that, we went standby on 7 Dwarves but got rained out before we could ride. We did receive next day redemption passes which I was able to switch over to Friday at guest relations on the way out.

That last stop very likely kept us off of the ferry boat that crashed into the dock.
