Starbucks for kids?

I was going to tell you the correct price of your coffee drink, but then realized that this thread was started just to poke fun at some posters in another thread.
I don't think anyone is poking fun at any other poster. We are just having some fun :confused3

I missed it too. I am one of the ones being made fun of I guess, b/c I asked the simple question of opinions of what age is appropriate for girls to start shaving their legs, not debating it one way or another, just asking for opinions.

Guess I'm a bad mom, bad person and bad DIS-er for asking for input.
I honestly meant no harm. I didn't read the thread yet but will tell you that once your DD is self councious (sp) thats when we allowed it. I really am sorry if I offended you :guilty:

Thanks L107angel. I appreciate it. I'm not offended. I am a good sport.

I guess I posted b/c I am tired of the Heely's, Crocs, refillable mugs & pool hopping threads....and thought there were a few intelligent, non-psycho DIS-ers out there!

Tiffer and gobears: no-one's trying to make anyone feel bad!

Thank you for not taking it personally! We really are just joking around. As for non-psycho, I am still waiting for the 3rd to confirm as my siggie suggests ;)

I think that was the point of the thread....only we're tired of the perfect parents of the DIS. ;)

ETA: I don't think anyone looks like an idiot. :confused3

Well, I fit it then, because I fit that bill, of a non-perfect parent that is.

Welcome to the dark side. :teeth:
I now am considering ordering Dooney and Bourke Barbie for my 3 year old. :rotfl:

:welcome: to the non-perfect parent club!

And if you want to know the truth about Starbucks, I'm too cheap and I hardly ever go there and when I used to bring my kids there when I was in a generous mood I'd let them get a small drink, but sometimes I'd get a large and make them share my drink. :rotfl2:

No! I am not making fun of you - I was just making a joke, actually about the thread about buying the $175 bag for an eight year old. I'm not even making fun of the OP of that thread; I just find it odd that people get so worked up about certain subjects and start debates and start trying to correct each other. Just trying to keep it light - sorry if you thought I was targeting you - not my intention.

I'll join you, Tiffer. Heck, my kid's in therapy--so if anyone fits the non-perfect DIS-parent, that would be I. :thumbsup2

It's the fact that so many people feel the need to "correct" other people that I am poking fun at.

I got suckered into answering this thread too. But hey, Starbucks is serious business for me! Someday I'll join a class action lawsuit suing them for whatever problems my grande chai a day habit causes me in the future. But next time, can y'all do this clueless person a favor and put some sort of idiot disclaimer at the bottom of a post?

Carry on.

well as long as she does not spill it on her cashmere pashima...or her uggs i think it will be ok.

I think there ae a few more canidates for the offensive thread here lol

and hey i posted in that purse thread!

I think I want to get my kids some Uggs because won't they look so cute in them when they are Christmasing in Europe? :cloud9:

Steph, we did warn you...in fact there is a post in your honor here. :teeth:

Don't you know the downfall of our society was started by parents like you? :furious: Who would buy Uggs for a 3 year old - have you lost your mind woman? (I'm sure Jimmy Choo makes really cute boots for children !! :teeth: )
