Starbucks Coupon - 20% Off!!

This is a question for a recent visitor. When I last visited in 2014, my oldest daughter asked for an iced coffee. We were at epcot so we went to Starbucks and got her one. I never would have noticed but for some reason I looked at the bottom of the receipt and there was a coupon for 20% off merchandise at a couple of different shops at epcot. It had stipulations such as it had to be used within 7 days but it had no exclusions which I could not believe!! I waited until the end of our trip and went to one of the shops listed. I bought 200 worth of souveneirs (spelling) for 160 which also included Alex and Ani.

My question is this - was this a fluke?? Does this kind of stuff ever happen anymore and is there a certain place to make sure we visit for something like this? I would love to get that lucky twice!!

It happens quite a bit during the year. I don't believe it's always 20% off and I don't believe it's the same times every year. But anytime you buy something at Disney you should check the bottom of the receipt to see if there's any discounts. When they do run those promos it's printed at the bottom of every receipt

If I remember - the coupon often said it had to be used between 9am-12noon or something like that. Don't remember if it's always like that but I know one promotion was.

Yeah, we've had some of those over the years, definitely nice! Tonight, DD26 and I were chatting and we got to wondering if they, or even the 20% AP merchandise discount, is ever good on Dooney and Bourke bags?

They do that when spending is down. To encourage people to spend more.

I think you're right, I remember ours having a time frame as well. We have gotten quite a few over the years. I think most of the time people don't even look at their receipt and never see them.

I have used both an AP discount and a receipt 20% discount (not combined, I wish) on D&B bags as well as Pandora charms but that was in 2013. Things might have changed at this point.
