Star Wars Weekends with kids

Ok all you Star Wars fans, I know you're out there. My 7 year old son is so excited about going on May 23rd-- he can't wait. Having never been to SWW before, we don't know what to do. My son loves Star Wars and the characters will be major draw for him. Any suggestions of things to do with son? Where do you get special SWW pin? Do you register for activities before hand? We've been to Disney before, but never for SWW. Please help make trip a success. Thanks.

Taking my 7 year old DS and 6 year old DD over the June 7th weekend. They haven't been but DH and I went in 2001.

For the kids things, I don't think there's registration. You just have to hang out at the right times and hope to get picked - I am referring specifically to Obi Wanna Be because DS will want to do that. Thankfully if it's the same as 2001, there are multiple times per day for that.

Pins will be available at Star Traders, the shop near the Star Tours ride, but be prepared to wait in line.

Other than that, we plan to roam and just take it all in. I want to get in on the adult trivia contest just because I love SW trivia.

When we were there in 99,00 most of the activities were by Star Tours area. They had a DJ, Hoola Hoop contest, Dance contest and numerous picture locations with the characters.
