Star Wars Weekends question

I asked before but never really got a response.

I'm taking a group of students to WDW to do 2 YES workshops. The only really convenient day we have to visit Hollywood Studios is Friday, June 5. Here are my questions, as I know that's one of the Star Wars Weekends. If ANYONE who has been there during those weekends can help, it'd be awesome.

1)Our YES workshop on Friday, June 5 ends at noon. So, we'd go to HS from around 1pm-closing. We are interested in HS attractions, not really the Star Wars stuff. Should we expect to see horrible lines for rides? Or will a lot of the crowd at the park be busy doing the Star Wars stuff? I know in June it's going to be busy regardless. I'd just like to know what to expect.

2)What's the parking situation going to be like? I know HS doesn't have a big lot. We'll take our school van to Downtown Disney for the YES workshop, which is at 8am. We were hoping to just drive straight to HS right after. Is parking an issue? Should we just drive there from DTD, or take a bus?

I've looked and looked at our schedule, and really that Friday is the only day that I can see we could go. Please let me know what to expect!

FFIW, Fridays are usually the least crowded of the SWW days. Also, those that come specifically for SWW will be spending a lot of time doing SWW activities. Yes, this event will draw in higher crowds, and yes, that will affect ride lines some, but probably not as much as your are expecting.
