My DH and I definitely want to make it to one of the Star Wars weekends this year. He is HUGE fan!

Here is my question......We originally were going to go for the second weekend this year, but we are thinking of going in June instead. That would mean we would catch the last day of it, on Sunday. Has anyone been on the last weekend before? Is it as fun as the first couple of weekends, or are they kind of "wrapping things up" by then? Do they have as many characters, games & trivia going on the last day?

Any advice or experience is appreciated! Thanks!

WE have been down for the weekends three different years now.
The 1st time down was early in the scheme, 2nd time in the middle and last year on the next to last weekend.
The only thing that might be unavailable late is certain limited edition things, such as the Jedi Mickey plush was long gone this year.
They always have pretty much the same schedule with the Jedi training academy activities, staw wars parades, character photos and such. And they always schedule a couple of stars associated with the films for each and every weekend.
I would anticipate you won't miss much unless you are after the collectible pins. Those are usually released (2) pins for each weekend and if they are really cool they can be gone in a week or three.
However they only sell the star wars weekend merchandise on the weekends so they do stay true to that.
It is fun and we enjoy the cool stuff....however it is the one time to avoid the Star Tours ride in my opinion, it is always mobbed on the SWW and it's too easy to ride other times of the year with no wait.
Good luck

Just read about this, and our dd has just become a BIG fan. Last year they added two extra weekends. Any chance of them adding an extra weekend this year? We are looking at trying to now rearrange our air since we just put our tickets on hold, and it looks like the last weekend is June 11th. We board a cruise on the 10th, but could go on the 9th pre-cruise. Any chance of this getting extended to the next weekend???? :cool1:

As for the experience of the last weekend, there shouldn't be any difference in terms of experience. Last year there was a shortage of merchandise but aside from that no major differences
