Star Wars Weekends & Early Enter?

When MGM Studios has Early Entry during Star Wars weekends, are you able to get the fastpasses for the autograph sessions and are you able to sign up for the trivia challenges?? Or do you have to wait for regular park opening??

Are any of the Star Wars characters out already??

I'm just trying to plan my day and would like to get the autograph fastpasses and sign my son up for the trivia contest before we do anything else.

Star wars weekends are the weekends starting Mid-May to about Mid-June. The dates for this year are:

May 19-21
May 26-28 (Memorial Day Weekend)
June 2-4
June 9-11

So does anyone know if I can sign up for events during EMH morning??

SWW events are for normal park hours only, so no SWW stuff is available when the park is first opened in the morning or after the park regularly closes.

This will be my 4th SWW, but the first time I stay at a Disney resort to take advantage of early entry during the event. They might not give out the Fast Passes for the autograph sessions before 9AM, but I don't see there being a problem waiting in line once you're inside the park. Again, I really don't know and am hoping we can get the answers we are looking for here.

I think I might do that! Just wait at the machine until opening for the Fastpasess and then go sign my son up for the trivia contest.

Since my DSis and DBIL are going with us, I can wait a the machine while they take the kids on some rides.

But we need to get an autograph for whoever is there (I hope it's someone good), because this is the only thing my son talks about.

If you're ever wanting to get autographs when not at a SWW, check these guys out. They ran the autograph sessions at Star Wars Celebration 3 in Indianapolis last year and did a fantastic job. The pictures are excellent. Of course, nothing beats getting the autograph personally, but if you're looking for ideas for birthdays, Christmas, etc. you can't go wrong with them.

I've seen that there will be fast passes available for the autographs but where exactly will the machines for this be? Near the regular star tours fast pass machines or else where?
