Star Wars Weekends 2015 Overview

For the Star Wars fan, Star Wars Weekends certainly has a lot to offer. The event can even be slightly intimidating due to the scope of it. A bit of understanding is helpful with the setting of expectations, so let’s break the whole affair down a bit.

I was there for opening day and it was great fun. However the panels are extremely short and superficial. For example on the Rebels panel, Tiya Sekar spoke about Rebels for about 5 minutes of the 30 minutes scheduled. The skits with the Imperials were really cute though (opening ceremony, start of Saga of the Stars, the trivia game at center stage).
