Star Wars Weekends 2004

I was at WDW for the ones last year unfortunately I completely missed all the events going on while I was there. I'll be there again this year for them but no one has said if they will be bring any of the actors or anything else of what is going on. This time last year it was all announced. Does anyone have any info on what will be going on and if any of the actors will be there this year?

I've heard (I think on the Star Wars fansite) that the first weekend is going to feature the guy (can't remember his name) who was C-3PO (the gold robot). But I don't think any of the other appearances had definitely been scheduled the last time I checked. Should be coming soon I would think.

We went last May and caught thr Star Wars Weeekends. GREAT TIME!!!! My 8yo son was dying when he saw Darth Vader and Bbbs Fett in person. Man, those guys must have been hot under those costumes. Just hang out at Dis Studios and you'll catch everything. What a great time.

The list for 2004 is not out yet. The one site that listed the celebrities actually listed last year's list with Anothony Daniels (C3PO) and Billy Dee Willliams (Lando Calrissian) as the guests for the first weekend. The full list did not come out until mid-April last year, so I would expect it to be posted at the same time this year.

Recently, when I attended one of the Cast Pin Events I manage to
speak to one of the Designers of the Logo for this years Star Wars Weekends. The Logo is going to be Mickey playing the part of Luke Skywalker with his Light Saber held up high and Minnie playing the part of Leia sitting down next to Mickey, of Course this is still rumor until we get official notification of the Logo Merchandise that is release for the upcoming Star Wars Weekends Event.

Thanks for the "inside" info. We have never been to a SWW before, I never thought about the possibility of related merchandise, my family is going to be excited when I tell them, as I am now. So are we talking pins only, or are there t-shirts, posters, etc.?

Mickey Mouse - Mickey will be in his Jedi costume (both in the parade and at his meet/greet location on Mickey Ave) for the duration of the event.

Well, last year there were Pins, Coins, Posters and T-Shirts, so I would guest it will be the same for this year too, the only difference is the Logo is different each year.

Also I believe the new Star Wars Action figures may be release during the event as well

Well, hubby was disappointed to see Natalie Portman not listed since that was a rumor.
Do you think that last weekend another actor will be added since there is only one now?

We'll catch it two weekends. We already have Billy Dee William's autograph from last year so maybe this time around we'll skip the mayhem of getting armbands and try to enjoy the other stuff.

I'm surprised Billy Dee Williams is doing this again. Didn't he have bad health last year? He was very unresponsive, even to my daughter who was 5 at the time.
