Here is the Logo for this years Star Wars Weekends.

I find that all very dissapointing. I don't like the logo and the guests are practically the same as last year

I have to disagree about the logo. I think that is totally sweet! The guest list is rather disappointing, but I have not seen the people for the weekend I am going to before, so I am okay with that. At least they mixed up the people so that if you were going the same week as last year, you would see someone different.

We're arriving at WDW the afternoon of Sun June 13. We'd planned on relaxing at POR that afternoon, but Ds (9) loves Star Wars, so we were thinking of heading over to MGM instead. Do events go on until the park closes? I don't think he cares about seeing the boy who plays Boba Fett as a child (for some reason, ds and his pals are crazy about Jango Fett, but don't think much of Boba), but I think he'd enjoy meeting the costumed characters.

Last year the events only went on until about 6:30 when they had the "party." Basically it was a lot of characters and a lot of parents pushing their children to get pictures with them. There were no actual lines, so it was basically chaos. The adult trivia was the last actual organized event of the year. I am not 100% sure on the times that the characters were out for organized photos and autographs but they were there for most of the day, taking the usual breaks.
