I want my picture with that droid, he is so cute and red my favorite color! I hope we get to see him. 1 week and counting ...........

As some people will start their journeys to an event far...far way, I will wish you all safe travels and have fun. Don't let the weather and crowds beat you down too much. Drink plenty of water, take breaks and find shade whenever possible. MTFBW

I'm glad that I can help in any way to make your planning easier. Have done SWW and I consider myself a veteran of the park (since I go there almost every weekend...oohhh I can feel the jealous stares...;) ) Anyone going on Saturdays during the weekend just look for my DD9 she'll be wearing Padme's nightgown (the blue one with the strands of pearls) during the morning hours, she'll probably change by 3 or 4pm, although she says that she'll leave the dress on all day. I will probably wear my SWW studios central blue t-shirt and my DS13 probably his SW rockband shirt. Come say hi, it's always fun to meet Dis'ers.

We'll be looking for you, lol!! I have asked this question twice already, and not gotten a definitive answer. Since you are lucky enough to go all the time maybe you can tell me. As far as crowd level is concerned, is it better to go on the Saturday or Sunday?? I have been reading on the Disboards that it is better to go on Sunday, but touringplans says Saturday. And since you go on Saturdays I am thinking maybe that is the plan? Or do you go because it is MORE crowded?? (More fun if you get to go all the time IMHO). Thanks for your help!!

On May 21 and 22 from 10 am - 11 am and 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Kooky pen creator Brent Reese and Disney Design Group Senior Character Artist Cody Reynolds will be on hand to meet guests and sign the newest Kooky pen releases at The Writer's Stop at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Each set is limited to a production run of just 5,000 pieces. Kooky Kollection #7 features the heroes of the Disney-Star Wars universe: Mickey as Luke Skywalker, Minnie as Princess Leia & Stitch as Yoda while Kollection #8's ink goes a tad darker with Goofy as Darth Vader, Donald as Darth Maul & Stitch as the Emperor.

From my personal experience the crowd level for SWW doesn't really change that much, maybe the park itself will be better one day or another (Fantasmic! or EMH having an effect on crowds) but as SWW things to do It always seems around the same level. We usually go on Saturdays but have also been there Fridays and Sundays. Just know that around the SWW events will be crowded, so as I said before, just see what do you want to acomplish during them. Maybe a celeb autograph, or characters, or special shows...My must do's are the parade, the Q & A show and Hyperspace Hoopla. But for some other families they would like to get pics with the characters or the JTA or Padawan Mind Challenge. So just make a list of your must do's and you should be fine. Have fun and I hope to see you there

Still looking for a plan of attack. Anyone willing to share? Not interested in meeting the real actors/autographs, but everything else sounds good.

Jenn

Thanks!!!

I think I read that the SWW parade starts at 11:00 AM?

:darth::darth:

It's been at 11:40am for the past years, the schedule this year is not out yet, but it should be around that time...and yes it's already really hot here, although this week it's supouse to rain so that will keep the temps in the 80's. It looks like a poncho will be needed for weekend 1. I wouldn't worry about it, it looks like the reg. afternoon rains. only 30%. It's getting close :lovestruc

Same here. What time is everything?

This is the schedule frhttp://sww.studioscentral.com/main/files/StarWarsWeekends_May_22-24_LR.pdfom last year

it should give you an idea, they don't release the schedule until maybe wed. or even the same friday so stay tuned .

Cant Wait- we are going Sunday to DHS and my son (4yo) is counting down the days! I am praying the weather holds- as much as he LOVES SW he HATES Thunder.....

Hi, I have a stupid question. My DH found out about SWW a week before our trip and asked if I could shuffle around our plans so we can attend. I see the dates May 28-30 listed, but no one ever mentions going on a Friday. I just want to make sure the parades and Storm Troopers are at rope drop on the Friday May 28 before I move everything around. We don't care about meeting any celebs. Thanks!

All the events for SWW go on during the 3 days, Fri-Sat and Sun. *Waving my Jedi hand: You will shuffle around your dates to attend SWW :darth::yoda:

I can totally relate. My son (14yo) is terrified of thunder, after 13 years living in the lightning capital of the world he still is affraid. There are the STars of the Saga show and Behind the Force show with Ashley Eckstein at the Premiere Theater that you can go into. ALso there are plenty of stores that you can go in case of lightning, have fun
