Star Wars Weekend Idea I have....

I just got back from Wal Mart, and on the toy clearance aisle I found little puzzle boxes of the Star Wars characters. The finished puzzle measures 5" X 7". The characters I bought are--Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, Amidala, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Well, the idea I have is to put the puzzle together and mod-podge it, then use it on my scrap page with pictures of my kids with the characters during the Star Wars Weekend at MGM. I have some pictures from this past summer, and I wanted to try one to see if it will turn out like I'm thinking. What do I need to do to preserve the puzzle any more than mod-podge, and is that even okay to use on a scrap page with pictures?

The puzzles were marked down to 50 cents a box, so I may have to go back and get a couple more (that's always my problem! ).

What do you think---will this work?

What a neat idea! I'm not sure about preserving the puzzle though.

While cleaning out DS's room after he moved out (he got married) I found a box of nearly dried out stamp markers. They were Star Wars shapes. I had them sitting on my dresser trying to decide what to do with them. At the moment, my plan is to let them dry out completely & then use my pigment ink pad to put the shapes on my pages, embellished squares, etc.

That was all I'd come up with so far for my Star Wars Weekend pages. It's been snowing like crazy since 11am here & DH has the car - as usual. I may have to check out Wal-Mart when the snow clears...at this point that won't be until Weds though.

Piratesmate, I'll be more than happy to send you a few boxes in the mail if you want them. I'm going to have to run back out later and I want to make sure I have 2 of each, just in case I mess one up. Just PM me if you want any. I also wanted to get a couple of other characters. My niece's hubby LOVES Star Wars, and I may have to get some extras for him too!
