Rumors are circulating of changes to next year's Star Wars Weekends at Disney-MGM Studios, to correspond with the thirtieth anniversary of the release of the original Star Wars film. Word is that there may be a much larger, grander version of the Star Wars Weekends, changing some events, and possibly including a night-time show with a Star Wars theme. Nothing yet as to whether this would include any changes to Star Tours or a new Star Wars attraction

Star Tours eas outdated when it was new. It REALLY needs a BIG change.

Don't tell me they're finally gonna update the film to Star Tours. Talk about the boy who cried wolf. Wouldn't it be nice if they did a new attraction to go along with Star Tours for a whole Star Wars area. Heck, you could change the Backlot Express into a Mos Eisley Cantina and edit the Sound Dangerous to a THX deal (don't they do sound for Pixar?).

Speaking as a Star Wars "old timer", I would like to see them bring in some of the Star Wars "old timers" like Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamil. You remember, those Star Wars originals.

There is a rumor (not confimred by disney) that Star Wars Weekends '07 may be moved to Disneyland to conincide with Star Wars Celebration IV. Celebration IV is scheduled for Los Angeles during the Memorial Day weekend.

There're usually scheduled for the last two weeends in May and the first two weekends in June.

I can't believe that I will miss out on both celebrations if they move SWW to Disneyland. That really stinks.

I used to attend the Star Wars Celebrations but now they moved them from Indianapolis (Where 1-3 were held) to LA.

I hope they do not move the SWW to California as well.

If they move SWW to Disneyland, then my trip planning will be all for naught.. I am specifically targeting end of May so I can attend SWW.... I am also holding back on going this October so I can save up more money and spend two weeks there... I wish they would announce something now....

I'm a Star Wars nutcase. We were there for our Honeymoon in June 05. We lucked out and they extended it two weeks so we were able to get there for it.

I wonder what incarnation of Darth they'll do this time.
