Star wars week????

Ok guys..help me out here. My DH is a HUGE star wars fan. I'm going to try to suprise him with a quick trip to WDW during Star wars week next year. ANyone know when that is and what kind of activities do they do during the week???? Help???? Thank you sooooo much

It's actually Star Wars Weekends, and it's the weekends (Friday through Sunday) in May. On those weekends some of the stars of the movie come to sign autographs (usually two per weekend) and a lot of Star Wars characters roam around to take pictures with you. My dh and I got pictures with Chewbacca, Darth Vader, R2-D2, C3PO, and Jedi Mickey to name a few. They also do some special things for the kids, like Jedi training. There are, of course, special pins and collectibles released during those weekends too. It was a fun time!! You can check out allearsnet.com for info about the 2004 event.

I don't believe the exact dates have been posted yet , but the last couple years they have been weekends from the middle of May thru the middle of June. They should be announcing the schedule of events and guests soon.:space:

Not sure if they will have the Star Wars Weekends next year with the Release of Ep III. They did not have Star Wars Weekends in 1999 Ep 1 and in 2002 Ep II due to a huge convention they have in Indianapolis put on by the Star Wars Fan Club and Lucasfilms. But you never know it could be different in 2005.
