Star Wars: The Force Awakens Special Event at HS

$100 per person? Really? I love Star Wars but, that's just a ridiculous price for a movie ticket. I would save my money and see it in the theaters when I got home. You could buy a lot of popcorn for $400. :-D

it's not just a movie ticket it is also for a special event at HS afterwards

I got some with my phone too but it is still processing my credit card, the credit card shows it pending but no emails or anything

You are probably ok. I'd say it took about 20-30 minutes for my phone to load the confirmation page (after it gave me an error and I hit the back button). Still no email.
If at all possible, try to go "back" and see if you can get an error that says you already placed the order. If not, I'd say the pending on your cc is a VERY good sign. That's what came through for me first.

I am trying to get tickets through AMC since I have gift cards for this specific purpose. We want to do Fork & Dine at Disney Springs but it is not allowing me to select seats (selection map comes up blank). This is not for opening night but 12/22. Anyone trying something similar and having same problems?

True. After I told my husband about it he said it's totally worth it. Of course He's the one who named our son, who was born on May 4th, Benson Kenobi. So I think my husband would go no matter the cost.

Sounds like the email confirmations were batch sent - I just got mine, too. We are 7:35pm for the 3D (we like it). I'm very excited about it - boy I hope they didn't oversell and the crowds are reasonable at HS. Trying to not think too much about that.
I also need to go understand the check-in at 8:00am "thing". If it's going to be necessary in order to guarantee sitting together.
But, for now... just going to be happy and excited!!! Glad you scored your tickets, too.

Well, it wasn't meant to be. By the time I could even see showtimes to select, every time I chose one it either did an error or said it was sold out, even though it was still green.

Only two times left now & neither will let me purchase. What a cluster that was...

It's in 3D, but what the heck! It's the only one I could get to work. Now I can go to bed.

If anybody is still hoping to get tickets... TRY NOW!!! After trying for hours, I decided to try once more before bed and got a couple tickets for DH and I! He is going to be SO excited!!!

Glad others are getting through to the tickets they want. I just randomly checked the site around 8:05 and managed to get in, so it probably went live at 8pm. I had no traffic or difficulties, so I'm betting I was one of the first to find out.

As for $100 per person, I too think it's a bit pricey (even with the HS event). But DH wanted it.

We got it too!!! We decided to change our flight to early morning to make sure we are there on time. Love Southwest!! We might even change it to night before. We got 7:40 2D. We are so excited. We didn't think we got it because it wouldn't take our payment. Apparently chase was putting fraud hold on our card!! Grrrrr. We got confirmation later.

Exactly. He would do this for me if it was LOTR... so, I guess I can go for him with Star Wars. At least there will be fireworks.

they put a hold on ours too we had to use another card at the last minute, I was like now you decide to do this to me but it all worked out in the end

I never did get an email confirmation... I got a confirmation number with my purchase & the charge is pending in my account. Not gonna worry about it.
