they put a hold on ours too we had to use another card at the last minute, I was like now you decide to do this to me but it all worked out in the end

I know right!! Of all times when you had 2 mins to complete the purchase. ugh... LOL.. Can't you see that Orlando is our 2nd home. haha... I am glad they do that but frustrating when you are in a situation like that.

Has anyone heard any updates for the event? Like when the fireworks will be? When does HS open for the event?
I'm trying to understand what we'll be doing at HS... will "everyone" be riding Star Tours, hanging out in Launch Bay (it's not really THAT big), or sitting a waiting for the fireworks?

I would like to know also. We took our confirmation to AMC at DS and got our tickets already. The only information they had was that we have to come back at least an hour before show time and someone from Disney will be giving out the tickets to HS.

Thanks for the info! Did they give you an assigned seat with your ticket?
Right now, I'm thinking of going over early in our vacation to get our tickets and then "check-in" the day of, around 4:00pm or so. But, if it doesn't matter when you get the ticket vs. when you check-in, it sure would be easiest to just do both on Dec 17th.

I did see something about a DJ dance party but those aren't something of very much interest to my family. And... "additional entertainment". Hmmm.

no there was no mention of assigned seats, I might call up and ask. I would hate for the 5 of us to be separated I hope they have something that is special to this event, if it is the same as Season of the Force I am going to be disappointed. But I have faith that Disney will come through and it will be awesome!
