Star Wars Spectacular worth it?

It's incredible, in my opinion. My husband, two kids (10 and 11), and I are big Star Wars fans, and we absolutely loved this show. It's one of our favorites in all of Disney. Totally worth it! Theoretically, you *could* do Fantasmic and the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular in the same night. Fantasmic ends about 20 minutes before Star Wars begins. However, it takes a while to get out of Fantasmic, and once you do get out, there won't be any good spots left to see the show. You would be able to see some of the fireworks but, probably, none of the projection show on the Chinese Theater, which is a large part of the show. Without seeing the projections, it just wouldn't be that special. I definitely think it's worth going to see the Star Wars fireworks. They are just amazing.

Is the SW Galactic Spectacular held every night? Year round?

We were there from March 4 to 10 and it wasn't showing up on the park hours page a month or so ago but was added later on. I would keep checking.

Add me to the list of people who say this is an incredible show. If you can get close to the front, you won't be cold.

If you are a SW fan (or even if you're not!), we thought the show was ABSOLUTELY worth it! We also booked the dessert party -- enjoyed that as well.

I'm right there with you. Haven't been since 2014 and am confused about whether it runs certain nights, time, etc. We like dinner ADRs so just trying to get ready to book those.

We got lucky. We arrived to the area from the lane by the Commissary about 15 minutes prior to the start of the show and found a great spot near the centre front.

Thanks for the info Yulady! Now I have even more questions lol! The dessert party looks like something I'd be interested in so I don't have to go early to stake out a spot. I'm thinking we'll take the express bus from MK JUST for the fireworks. I tried to book the dessert party for mid June and it's not showing. Do you know when they open up the ADRs for the dessert party? Do they serve anything remotely dinner related other than the naan bread? Was hoping to skip dinner for more park time. Do they have the fireworks every night? How many minutes b4 the fireworks is the dessert party? How long is the dessert party? Do you have to get there right at opening? The reviews showed characters at the party - is it easy for photo opportunities? Is every spot in the roped off area a good view?

page 1 post 4 has all the dessert reviews and info. But here are answers, more in depth answers are on the official SW thread ( I manage that thread so basically all SW related questions we try and keep on there so not have multiple threads with the same info)
Dates are released only about a month and a half in advance
Fireworks have been showing every night for the last couple of months
Menu with pictures on the thread, post 4
No character are at the party, stormtroopers walk around but rarely stop for photos
dessert party starts an hour and 15 minutes before the fireworks
if you want a table and take your time eating you should try and get there as they open
