Star wars ride

Do they have seats that do not move?

All of the seats are located in the ride "vehicle" that moves in sync with the 3D Star Tours movie.

My older DD has motion sickness issues and chooses not to ride Star Tours.

This ride does give me a bit of motion sickness. I can only watch the screen for a little bit and then I have to close my eyes because it messes with my equilibrium.

As the PP's have noted, this is a very motion-intense ride. The entire vehicle is what moves, not the seats. If you're at all prone to motion sickness you may be wise to pass this up.

If you do decide to ride, the least motion is found/felt in the center of the vehicle. That's the center front to back and side to side. Even at that though, there is still a lot of motion.

I have had motion sickness issues with this ride before. I am thinking of trying the new version, just because I did like the old version except the queasy feeling after. Just debating if it is worth possibly feeling ick the rest of the day.

Very easy to get motion sickness on this. It is a motion simulator. If you ride it, do not look away from the screen is my suggestion. I personally love the ride, but I can't do it more than 1 time in a row.

Maybe the 3D effect will lessen your disorientation...

I always felt queasy after riding the old ride, and was not excited to try the 3d version...but it made such a difference. I felt great after riding it.

The 3D effect actually made it worse for me. I've never been prone to motion sickness on a ride, but after they added the 3D, it makes me nauseous every time. I can ride it once, but close my eyes about midway through it to ward off some of the queasiness.
