We went last month! It was awesome and totally worth the money. It was a birthday surprise for my husband, and we had our 5 and 7 year old girls with us, who both love Star Wars. There were 22 of us and the tour guides said they cap it at 30 people. 2 people showed up late and they waited for them so we got off to a late start

When we were all there they took our orders from Backlot Express - I'm wondering if this is still the same now because they don't have Star Wars themed food as of this month - most items on the normal lunch menu were available. My husband and I both got burgers & fries and the kids got hot dogs with fries. Then they ask you if you're on the Dark Side or Light Side (they also ask you this when you book it). My husband and I both chose dark and the kids chose light. They then give you special lanyards with your name on them and earbuds (headphones for kids) and battery packs so you can hear the guides talk if you're not right beside them.
As Star Wars geeks we loved the special treatment - skipping lines on a busy Saturday to meet Kylo, BB-8, and Chewy was awesome, as was entering the "back entrance" of Star Tours. We also got to see "The Path of the Jedi," which was actually closed as it's a seasonal attraction. There wasn't really anything new I learned (and they were not giving up any details on Galaxy's Edge!) but I liked the time given to take photos of props, replicas, etc. You get plenty of bathroom breaks and a bottle of water. I had read reviews that said you get popcorn and that wasn't the case for us but we didn't miss it.
The absolute best part was getting to walk in the March of the First Order. I felt like a celebrity lol! A lot of guests saw us random people walking right behind the storm troopers and tried to join but man the Cast Members were strict and kept them in line! Then you get to be in a reserved front viewing area for the stage show. Some of us stood and some of us sat to watch.
You get 2 little gifts and a special treat while at lunch, I won't spoil them for you. And some guests showed up, but I won't give that away either. The kids were automatically signed up for Jedi Training for the 1pm show. Guests without kids had the choice to stay or not. It was hot the day we were there but the show is great to watch. Our girls got to fight Darth Vader and took it very seriously! After that they take you to the spot to come back for the VIP area for the showing of the nighttime Star Wars Show - because we were there in December it was Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam. Our dinner reservations at Hollywood & Vine ran way late, so we actually missed it. I would have been upset if it was the Star Wars show, but we didn't care we missed it.
All in all we will do it again once Galaxy's Edge opens, if they still offer it. I for sure think the price will rise but if it gets us "cut the line" privileges and special meet & greets we will do it!
I would add a couple pictures but I'm not sure how to do that!
