Star Wars Galaxy Edge is Adding OT Trilogy Characters to the Land

Yes, there does sound like there is some seperation in the areas, which works because GS is big enough (not that I personally believe that it matters at all). That said, what they really need is an attraction with no height requirement!
You know I never thought it but you are right there isn't a single Star Wars attraction that doesn't have a height requirement.

Its a wayyyy off but if they do add onto a land, some sort of show would be amazing. It can even be something smaller like Turtle talk but with C3-PO and other droids

While I'd love another ride that anyone can go on, feels like we'd get another simulator like something on Speeders

I mean if we can get a PM style ride around the land, cool but I feel like now its harder to do vs before when it was suppose to just be built into the land

My dream SWGE attraction would basically be Spaceship Earth, but for the history of the Star Wars Galaxy. It would be an omnimover, so no height requirement, and it would start with "For over a thousand generations the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice...." It can show a little of Old/High Republic, then basically cover the saga from the blockade of Naboo, the Clone Wars, The rise of the Empire, Galactic Civil War, New Republic, First Order, etc., all in little animatronic scenes. Like, why they aren't making that right now, I just do not know.

You do know that there's an upcoming job opening at Disney, right? 😁

How busy do you think Disneyland will be on April 29th because of the new offerings? That is our 1st day. We, hopefully, will attend the Star Wars After Dark event the night before and can pretty much avoid Galaxy’s Edge that day, if necessary.

IMHO the biggest mistake they made with the new Star Wars lands, well besides the Galactic Starflop, was making both DL & WDW the same lands. Disney royally screwed up. Each should have been set in different worlds and time frames, that would have drawn guests to visit both park, and might have lit a fire at other Disney locations too. But making a carbon copy of the same land was cheap, but not creative. I went to both within 5 months of each other, being a clone was a big disappointment had they been different it would have make it more fun to explore the new location. Disney Fail.

Yeah, even if they had the same rides, some other differences would have been nice. I would have never locked either down to a timeline anyway, but I've always liked how things at DL and WDW are a little different - sometimes similar and sometimes not-at-all.

I'd expect GE to be busy that day and the days after.

Originally that was the plan. Each GE would be a different planet with a different "storyline."

That idea would have been genius. If WDW insisted on doing Starcruiser, then set that park's land during the sequel trilogy. Set DL during the original trilogy or keep it more flexible to allow them to somehow include the prequel trilogy. You would give Star Wars fans a real reason to visit both U.S parks.

Well, technically now that DLR has the OT stuff and WDW does not, they are two different Star Wars Lands.

I'm pretty sure they will roll this out at the WDW version eventually too. They will certainly get the Mando based Smuggler's Run missions. They may be more reluctant to do face characters for Luke, etc. They may do Vader since it's easier, and they are all about easier! 🤣

This seems like a smart move that Disneyland is gonna do with Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. Because it is time to bring back Darth Vader Luke Skywalker and the other Star Wars characters after just allowing them to come out only for Star Wars events and I can predict once April 29th hits there will be long long LONG lines with Darth Vader's line being the longest but you know who else is missing and Disneyland should've added to the Star Wars characters? Queen Amidala and Anakin Skywalker. Because those two characters are also popular they should've been added too

They should definitely add some prequel stuff! How about a Queen Amidala Boutique - like a Star Wars version of Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique? That'd be neat. I think a Podracing ride would be killer too!
