Resort Thread STAR WARS: GALACTIC STARCRUISER Official Information & Questions Thread

Itinerary seems pretty cool to me, nice to have some additional framework on the flow of the days.

Only thing that made me look a little sideways is the "Spectacular Finale 10pm-11pm" on the Night 2 sample itinerary is "Sweets & Treats"... so a glorified dessert party. Perhaps a bit of an oversell on the sample itinerary, IMO.
I would categorize "Spectacular Finale" with "story moment #1..." etc. My point is that I think they are purposefully making the itinerary look more "generic," i.e., not calling out anything that will specifically deal with the planned story elements. It would be pretty hard to provide an experience that is meant to feel spontaneous and organic if it is described in an itinerary. :D

I'm a costumer, but am woefully behind with the recent loss of my Mom. So I'm cobbling together something that I can be at peace with, but not something that I would be amazed to show off. My traveling partner is awesome and all set with their outfit, and it's helped me think about what I'd like to make (character backstory, etc). If I had planned better, I'd probably have made some kind of armour-based outfit. ... cause armour is cool. (Then again, I also briefly thought about making VINCENT from the BlackHole movie and seeing if anyone recognized that droid. So my thoughts of "cool" and "fun" might be VERY different from most others. ;) :D )

My costuming shall be various Lando oriented shirts and capes. It's possible I have also integrated previous halloween costumes of Prince, the Count of Monte Cristo, and vampires into the wardrobe. For the record, I would consider my character a Force sensitive Intergalactic gambler/smuggler (probably falls under "scoundrel").

Definitely ready for some Sabacc on the voyage.

LOL, you'll be so immersed in the story that you'll have no idea.

So wish they had an underground tunnel/walkway to GE that they could have easily used as part of the storyline.

Im sure it will be great. That photo might as well be a loaded gun to the haters on twitter though!

It is still hilarious though. Seems like a tram system through a screen/animatronic filled tunnel would have been more futuristic. Or even a Hogwarts Express style inclosed train.

How about Book of Boba Fett episode 5?!🔥 it definitely made me more excited for the Starcruiser! Anyone else? 😆

Looking at everything that I'm interested in has me wondering how I am going to find time to visit Batuu.

My costumes will be pretty basic - I'm going for comfort more. I have a resistance shirt I picked up on my last trip that I altered to fit me better and plan on combining that with leggings. And I have a resistance backpack for Batuu. I figure that will be the perfect Day 2 outfit.

Still working on a day 1 outfit - I have something I bought a year or two ago that needs altering so I'm thinking of that with leggings will work well.
Or I could pull out my Darth Vader dress. Decisions, decisions. LOL

And I'll be using my little Star Wars purse that I made with Grogu fabric so I can have someplace to keep my phone and other little things I need. But if I go with the Darth Vader dress I will need to use my little purse with Stormtrooper fabric for day 1.

Still trying to make up my mind about whether I will need to get a scooter or not from an offsite company. Not sure how that will work if I decide I need one. I'm thinking my cane and knee brace if needed may be good enough for just a weekend.

Happy New Year fellow galactic travelers.

A couple days ago I came up on the 60 day reservation point before my reservation so I called the star cruiser to add the lightsaber build for the excursion to Batuu. During the call the representative also asked if I wanted to add the cantina to my itinerary. Both were then added by the star cruiser team and the process was pretty easy and I had good choices of times for the excursion day. The reservation does list in MDE as "Batuu Excursion: Savi's Workshop" and "Batuu Excusrion- Oga's Cantina" so it does seem they may have some designated spots to allocate during the excursion times (which are during normal park hours).

The representative also told me about some play testing they had done with their children at the hotel in some of the storyline experiences and that she believed guests will be very happy with the product and will see where all the money is going (I realize it is a Disney employee, but I was glad they were not trying to manage/lower expectations). The representative also said to expect more information and for the star cruiser to reach out a couple weeks before the voyage. It sounded to me like it would be a direct communication, but I know it could also just be the itinerary added to the Disney Parks app.
Thank you for posting this!! Called today and was able to get an Oga’s reservation for my group (which I had been unable to secure via the WDW site when my booking window opened yesterday). The CM also mentioned that we definitely wanted to spend some time there during our time on Baatu, and alluded to the fact that there could be some story moments to be had there, so I’m wondering if there are certain time slots reserved for only GS guests? I encourage anyone wanting an Oga’s reservation to book via the Starcruiser line, as it may be a better/different experience than if you book on your own.
