Star Wars Fireworks overlapping Fantasmic?

Fantasmic is scheduled for 8:30pm and the Star Wars fireworks are scheduled for 8:45pm on our HS night. What's up with that? Does the sound carry? If you had to pick, which would you choose?

If we get a choice in Jan, my family is choosing SW. Another thread discussed this. Someone on that thread complained and was told that HS is trying to stop injuries that were occurring when people were attempting to rush from one show to the next. Conjecture is that Disney is trying to lure people to HS two days during their vacations. You can watch you tube videos of both shows to see which one your people would prefer to see.
