Star Wars Fireworks at Hollywood Studios?

i believe so...i was last there spring break. It's a really cool experience for us star war fans.

Don't think I have ever seen this. Last trip was 2015. My son is a major Star Wars fan. He would love this.
Can you watch them from other places, like Disney Springs?

The real impact is from inside the park. Much of the show involves projected images on the front of the old Great Movie Ride building. The higher fireworks can be seen from a distance. I know that my daughter was able to see them from her BWV std. view studio a year ago.

Yes and if you are up to the splurge, the dessert party is an absolutely fantastic way to watch the show. The desserts/drinks are fantastic and you get the absolute best view. A bonus is that you might even get to sit for the show! Everyone on our night was seated but it depends on the group.

How did you manage that

How did you manage that
How did I manage the dessert party? Or how did I manage to sit for the show?

I bought tickets to the dessert party online. At the time they were $79 each and include unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, desserts, some snacks like fruit/cheese/hummus, priority viewing for the fireworks, and a commemorative gift.

As for the sitting part, I'm not sure if it's usual (because this was the first Star Wars dessert party I had been to) but when they led us out to our viewing area everyone just sat down and stayed sitting down the whole time. The spot for dessert party folks is right in front of the theater so there's nothing blocking your view.

Thank you for the info and sorry for being unclear. I was talking about the sitting part. I thought there were chairs when you said sitting. My family and I are doing the dessert party next month when we go to WDW. We have seen the show twice before but never attended the dessert party. It is something that we are looking forward to.

No chairs in the viewing area, but there are tables and chairs for the dessert party, which takes place in the Chinese Theater's courtyard (unless it's raining).

Ohh okay I see the confusion! Yes, were most definitely sitting on the ground. Although there is a little ledge around the perimeter and those who got there first could get somewhat of a concrete 'seat'.

This was my first fireworks dessert party experience at WDW and I absolutely loved it. You should have a great time :D Go with lots of empty belly space for the delicious desserts.

Love the dessert party!

We ate a big TS lunch and were fine with the dessert party as dinner....a few appetizer / finger foods, plenty of fruit and more dessert than I ever imagined! I remember going in thinking "I can't believe I'm spending so much money for dessert and prime seating". Turns out, it was probably the highlight of that trip for us. My younger D and I aren't even big Star Wars fans and still thoroughly enjoyed it.

The big decision for next trip will be to do it again or try a different one....

we have done the Magic Kingdom Terrace Party and I loved it. Also on our next trip we are doing the Frozen Dessert Party in Epcot as well as the Star Wars Party. The dessert parties are pricey but I think they are worth it.
