Star Wars evening show- August?

We are going to WDW August 8-16 and were planning to go to Hollywood Studios one evening to see the Star Wars: Galactic Spectacular but according to the WDW website the last date for this show is July 31st.

What's the likelihood that the show will be extended in August?

I think they just haven't updated the schedule for past the end of July yet. I keep on waiting for them to add the fall schedules.

as mentioned, it's been horrible with schedules, you probably won't know for another week what august really is.. they built stuff for this show so it's not temporary, I would plan on any night all summer it's running.

Yeah, I was asking this question earlier and have been assured by others that this is just the way Disney works with operating hours these days. Annoying, but the fireworks show will be there.

Fingers crossed it is permanent. I go end of August and will be super bummed if it isn't happening. I know the fireworks during SWW were totally awesome!

Same boat. I bagged my usual dessert parties hoping for a dp during this in Sept.

I can't really see it going away anytime soon.. maybe they will change it up for star wars land when that opens.. I can see it possibly not being nightly after the summer but they also want to show off their new setup for it.

Looks like August hours have been updated. Hollywood Studios is now open until 9:30 and Star Wars fireworks are listed on the daily schedule.

Is it open until 9 or 9:30. The official site is showing 9pm with fireworks at 8:45. It would be awesome if it's 9:30!

From the 1st through the 21st until 9:30pm and then from the 22nd so Sept. 5th until 9pm

I was glad to see the August and early September updates. I hope they continue through our mid-September trip. We would really love to see this show.

I am curious as to how we are going to see Fantasmic at 8:30 and the Star Wars fireworks show at 8:45. I was bummed to see those times.

The way they are scheduling them now, there is no way to see both unless there is a second Fantasmic scheduled and you go to that one. This is part of the reason we are scheduling 1.5 days at DHS.

I am so bummed about this. I figured we could see both Fantasmic and Star Wars on the same night. August 29. All my other nights are planned. Our group will probably have to split up but this really messes up my plans. I have Star Wars fans in our group and 3 who never saw Fantasmic. Uggghhh!
