Star Wars characters at MGM?

Are the Star Wars characters at MGM? If so, when and where can we find them? Thanks.

I thought you could find them at Star Tours all of the time. Maybe that has changed.

You can usually find a few of the Star Wars characters in the Stars and Motorcars Parade at MGM daily. You generally won't find them out and about for pictures/autographs unless you are there during the Star Wars Weekends.

When we were there for our honeymoon over the 1st weekend in June 2004 it was a Star Wars weekend...so the characters and fans were EVERYWHERE. I'm not a Star Wars fan, but DH is, so he has pics with Storm Troopers, Jedi Mickey, Queen Ama-what's her name, etc.

When do they usually announce the dates for this year's SW Weekends? I know they're always in May/early June, but they do vary year to year. I'm a huge Star Wars nerd, and I've been trying to go for years but we always go during spring break, because my mom thinks it would be too crowded in the summer. But my class is going out of state on a field trip for a week, and since I'm not going, we're going to Florida... well I was hoping SW weekends would be that week so I could drive a little extra to that.

So if anyone knows the dates and even the actors/characters who will be going this year, it would be much appreciated! Thanks!!

We saw them yesterday during the parade. Probably the best part of the trip for my 2 Star Wars addicts. Darth Vader & R2D2 walked along, and Leia and Luke rode in the car.

We were there late Oct/Early Nov and Darth Vader was signing autographs outside the gift shop at Star Tours.

Wow, so they have SW characters on a regular basis? Because I know SW weekends are always in May/June.

Has anyone gone at the end of February/begining of March and seen them there? Not just in parades, but for autographs, pictures, etc.

Also, are they there at a special time each day or just randomly?
