Both. Star Wars was the first movie I saw in a theatre. Wish I still had my Princess Leia doll, too.

But I've always liked sci-fi...as a child, other than Star Wars, I liked Star Trek, Battlestar Gallactica, Buck Rogers...

I call my DBF "Number One" since he bears a striking resemblance to Commander Riker from TNG!

Trek!!! Looking forward to the sequel in 2011 or 2012. Just hoping they don't screw up the Khan story.

I agree. It's like comparing apples to oranges. They are both "fruit," by nature of the futuristic, outer space genre, but one needn't like one more than the other.

I like them both, but I prefer Star Trek. It is easier for me to dispel my disbelief than with Star Wars. Star Wars, to me, is more of a fantasy series where you are always on the outside looking in, rather than imagining yourself in the scenario.

Probably have to go with Star Trek.

It was my first sci-fi addiction in HS, and I got hooked on watching re-runs. And the new JJ Abrams movie was abso-freaking awesome!

But I married a Star Wars nut, and am raising one as well. They would not like my answer .

I am pretty sure I would die under the command of Reynolds or Kirk for that matter.

The only time Picard got me nervous was in First Contact when he wanted to ignore his shipmates who were taken over by the Borg.

Firefly is my first love.
Followed by Star Wars then Star Trek. I'm a new convert to Trek too since the newest film. I can't stand T.O.S. but I can tolerate T.N.G.

Star Wars.....

although I like most Star Trek as well....except for the last couple of series. I never could get into Enterprise or Voyager. I loved ST:TNG.
