Star Tours soft opening??

My Dsis and her DH rode ST yesterday as well. I had read about it being open, possibly, and called her and told her she should check it out. It wasn't open at first but as they were watching a few minutes of the Jedi show, they opened it. She said they didn't have to wait at all and it was awesome!

I'm looking forward to riding it at DLR during a sneak peak preview I won tix to for this Friday, the 20th. It doesn't open here at DLR, officially, until June 3rd.

We rode it twice today and loved it !! I hated the old ride but this was great. We had two totaly different stories each time.
First one had Escaping from imperial ship, then pod race on tatooine and then the bounty hunter chase thru the city from movie II
Second ride was much cooler, first had Darth Vader use the force on our ship, then a chase thru ice planet hoth and then to Naboo and under the water with Jar Jar Binx.

Wanted to ride again but line was up to 45 minutes and we were tired.

Fast Pass was up and running for preview today.
We used it for our second ride.

We rode yesterday. Great improvement from the old version! Enjoyed the 3D effects.
