Star Tours ride question

My husband and daughter really want to ride Star Tours when we go next time, but I can't handle the motion simulators. Would I be able to go through the line and the pre-ride stuff inside the building without actually riding? I do like Star Wars and would like to see everything without actually riding.

Yeah - Did that to my mom who has motion issues too. She can either walk through the ride and out the exit immediately or there's a "chicken" path she can go through.

Absolutely. I'm pretty sure every ride has an option for someone that doesn't want to ride. They're not going to make anyone get on the ride that doesn't want to.

BTW this is true of all the more modern rides - EG Both Harry Potter rides have chicken exits too. You could do this with Splash Mountain too but I'm not sure about older rides like Space Mountain but there must be some exit path that could be taken at that point.

My son just walks out of space mountain right up where we get in. No biggie at all. He gets to hold all our junk too.
