That little girl, Meghan has a phenomenal voice! Much better than the rapper, IMO!!

I wish I can get onto cbs.com/star to vote!! They most be bogged down with people trying to get on there to vote!

I have been watching, and I've been voting online too (haven't had any problems accessing the site). I totally agree about Meaghan, she got 5 stars easily from me!

I thought the little girl was good. It was a bit rough being live. The little Bow Wow guy was excellent too. I think opera to rap is like apples to oranges. They could have cut out some of Arsenios lame jokes and put in separate categories for singing.

I wonder it they'll have a live show every time?

I'm sadly disappointed in this show. It was really lame. The one comedian was too sexually explicit (went into detail of what it would sound like when Bruce Lee made love to his wife) and the models were not model material, IMO.

I also didn't like that they told them right after each category who won. They should have waited until the end of the show to do this.

I miss the old Star Search. Where are you, Ed McMahon?

I agree with you Polly Ann. If that was the best talent they could find for this show it's not going to last for very long. I certainly won't bother tuning in tonight!

I really do have to say that both of those girls in the models category were just awful looking--there werent pretty or even exotic looking---without out being too mean I really do think they were plain old ugly.

The kids were both good. I am not a big rap fan, but they little boy had a ton of stage presence, and he was very good---he should be able to get somewhere

HOWEVER, the little girl had a voice that was unreal for 13 years old-----tens times better that Charlotte Church--whom I feel really is not that great---I studied voice for many years, and that little girl has such a clear crisp voice. Chalotte Church tends to swallow a lot of her sound and has a very over done vibratto---not the girl on star search---she was a little short of the stage presence---but she will be going somewhere

I really wasn't impressed with this show. The "old" Star Search didn't have the judges talking and making comments about the performances. Now they do. This was the part of the show that tried to copy American Idol. Arsenio was trying way too hard. He looked very stiff and uncomfortable.

I agree about the "models". Did you see how that girl who won walked the runway? OMG! I've never seen a model shake her booty like that! She was scary.
