...on top of your tree? It's been a fun little conversation starter around my office this season. We're an angel household all the way!

Star, always a star for the last 20 years.... DH insists on a star. I do have a very pretty Christopher Radko glass spire emergency tree topper, but I haven't had to use it.

I grew up in a household with a small toy soldier plastic blow mold tree topper, that was kinda odd. The 70s were odd.

Star - a Mickey Head star that I brought back from WDW about 20 years ago, many of the glitter are gone and I keep saying I'll spray more glitter next year...lol

No star because I could never find the exact star my mom bought from Woolworth’s. No tinsel, no blinking lights; gave up looking.

Had a lebkucken angel for many years until it broke. Opted for no other angels to end the question of who it was supposed to look like in the family. Of course it should look like me but that might tilt my hand 🤣. Now it’s glittery branches or tulle- it gets changed every few years.

We would be a star family but we just can’t find a star that we like. I look every time we look at ornaments, but no such luck. If you have a recommendation I’d love to finally have one.

Star. In the early 90s I had an angel but she stopped working so I decided to revamp the entire tree and found the perfect “country” star. Used that for most of older DD’s life and the younger kids as well. Then a few years ago I wanted a bigger star because our trees keep getting bigger. That’s all it took for DD to commandeer my original star and vow to never give it back. I’ve been on the hunt for one like it since. No luck. Soft pastel tree is DD’s with said pilfered star and our family tree with the one I have now.

I voted neither. I looked and looked but couldn’t find anything that worked for the weird ‘perch’ at the top of the tree.

Years ago, my daughter went on a field trip to a local nursery and they all brought home a Christmas centrepiece. It had some live greenery and a few sprigs of fake cranberries on a branch. I stuck one of the springs on the top of the tree and it’s been our topper ever since.

We also switched to a star several years back after our angel stopped working. She looked sad and drab up there when she would no longer light up. Searched and searched for a replacement, but could not find a pretty one. Switched to a gold filigree star that doesn't light up, but still catches plenty of light.
