i bet they re-run the larry king show with her this weekend-very interesting. he held nothing back question wise and realy put her on the spot with questions that asked specifics about her information to the media vs. the actual events that abc has documented (how long ago she knew about the non renewal of the contract, the verbal agreements she entered into with abc...).

they showed the leaving "speech" along with the "she's not coming back" speech and other clips from her time on the show (also did some great questioning around the whole "rosie" issue-found it interesting despite the media coverage that her leave was partialy based on that, she had been notified months before rosie was ever approached-because meredith vierra had'nt yet been chosen for today/slated to leave).

So all those cheering women in the audience when Star does her leaving speech....Are they cheering because they don't like her, because they were there when she did the speech are they crying because they are upset???? I found the audience shots really hard to figure out.

Those audience shots were not from the "View". That was a bit from the "Jimmy Kimmel" show. Most likely those were taken from an Oprah show when she gives away things to the audience.

Barbara said basically, Star knew months ago she was not being renewed... so they agreed to go with whatever Star wanted to say(agree to lie to the public NICE ABC!)... maybe persuing other interests.. whatever- so Star wouldn't be known as "not wanted back next season"... but Star chose to go public that day without Barbara or anyone knowing it was coming... she betrayed Barbara and ABC- not a good move if you ask me. Bye bye Star

Not to be gross, but Larry King totally tooted when he was closing the interview with Star. I have the clip and you have to listen really carefully, but it is HILARIOUS (to me, a 23 y.o. female with the sense of humor of a 5 y.o. boy)

I too have the sense of humor of a young boy. Dh has said he married a 12 year old boy and that's disturbing on so many levels.
