We don't have the Disney channel at home, and today while doing her hair at a hotel, my daughter and I caught the first Star Darlings TV special, and from the modicum of research we did online, we are very impressed with the amount of thought that seems to have gone into this project. It feels like it's resting on a body of lore reminiscent of Hogwarts + Jem and the Holograms + Pixie Hollow + World of Warcraft.
There don't seem to be any other threads here about the books and shows, so I thought I'd make this thread just to express how surprised and impressed we were. We look forward to good things, unless it's abandoned the way the Pixie movies were.
