We like "upper floor across from the bus stop". These are not close to the elevators, but give you a chance of seeing fireworks from EPCOT from the balcony.
I think the village green area is pool/garden not standard. If you have a standard view studio request overlooking the green. If a one bedroom...ask for a corner room if you want a view of Hollywood studios...otherwise most face the bus stop.
Yup, they areI think the village green area is pool/garden not standard.
Those (x123) are standard view 1 bedroom villas. I don't particularly care them.Yup, they are.....as are the "corner rooms" (numbered x123)
oops, you're rightThose (x123) are standard view 1 bedroom villas. I don't particularly care them.
While they are somewhat larger than the other 1 bedrooms and have much larger balconies, I found them very dark and because of that, the extra space was unappealing and seemed like an afterthought. Maybe they improved the lighting during the last rehab. We haven't been assigned to one since then. I know many do not share my opinion.
I always request "upper floor, away from the elevator". Apparently it is not a very common request because the CM said "Are you sure? Do you know how long those hallways are?"I always try to stay away from the front entrance area where the airline baggage check in kiosk is located. I'd rather do the long hallway than to listen to that in the morning.
Ain't that the truth! I've posted the issue I had with BWV before. Had a "pool/garden view" and our "view" was a HUGE tree surrounding our patio with many in tree critters. (We are patio people.) If you looked to the very far left of the tree, within a 12 inch space, you "might" see the pool. BWV has way too many overly mature trees surrounding the property cutting off the desired views. Since then, I always try to reserve a Preferred Boardwalk View which has no trees.Disney will take a view category to the max if they can, a little bit of water seen from the room and it's a lake view. That being said, a standard view is standard for a reason. While some may not find the view objectionable, others like my family are willing to pay more for the best chance to get a great view.

Yep...that's the only selection we pick now! In fact we always ask for 4001 or 3001. =)Try a boardwalk view, that is our favorite.
