Standard View 1 Bedroom

About 10 months ago there was a thread about someone who had a standard 1 bedroom that was quite larger than all of the other standard 1 bedrooms. I used the search feature and found a room 4123. However, the post that I found didn't ring any bells for me. Does anyone know what room it was that was being referred to? Also, can anyone suggest a nice 1 bedroom (standard view) that I can request?

I've been keeping a low profile on this one as I was hoping that everyone would forget about it giving me a chance to get it. However I have just made my booking 10 months and 3 weeks ahead of schedule to find that not only was this room taken but EVERY standard view one bedroom was taken.

I stayed in it on my last trip.

It was 3123.

This room is on the corner near the pond & fountain, it would be on every floor - so 1123, 2123, 3123 & 4123. I assume they are all the same. 2123 is probably smoking. I was hoping to get it last December, but got next door (3121). The standard views go along the front driveway and around the corner in front of the tennis courts. Our room was far down the hall and we could partially see the fireworks from Epcot, there was a large tree in front of it blocking some of the view. So your main choices are close to the lobby, which would be a valet area view or farther out closer to the pond & tennis courts. Upper floor would probably give you a better view.

The standard view rooms may be limited because they are scheduled for renovations on the outside of the building later this year and maybe into next year.

Debbie, we were in 3121 last June. Boy was I miffed when I discovered that the ONE TREE blocked the fireworks view! Then I came home and found by these posts that I was right next door to such a wonderful room! I have, however, asked to be closer to the elevators this trip for my parents' sake--we will be in a 2 BR standard this time.
