Anyways, has anyone ever rented from National and reserved a Standard car? What type of vehicle was this?

It is a Monte Carlo type. A standard is a full size 2 door. You select it from the full size aisle.

Technically, there is no standard size car. As stated above, it is a 2 door, full size car, so you go to the full size aisle and choose any car from that aisle. So, if you reserve a standard instead of a full size, you can save a couple of bucks.
