Stand by lines in early June?

Really considering staying at a DVC property (we're DVC members) instead of onsite to cut down on cost. But I am worried about the amount of time that we would spend in the stand by line. We haven't been to US/IOA in a number of yrs. We have stayed at all 3 onsite resorts and although we feel they are very nice, would love to save the cash that an onsite resort would cost. That being said the teens are worried about wait times for the coasters. Any insite on wait times? We are more than willing to be at the gates before opening.

Early June shouldn't be too bad...I would say the wait times would be in the 30 to 60 minute range for the most part. If you can get to the gates before opening, you can probably do all the coasters before the bigger crowds arrive.

Assuming the HR3 is open by that time, the wait times would be quite long...over 60 minutes minimum.

Thanks for the reply and those that pm'd me. We opted to bite the bullet and book RPR. Very excited we haven't been to US/IOA in 5 yrs. Booked 4nights at RPR!!!!!!!!!!!

We were at US/IOA with the 7 day unlimited ticket last year and were quite suprised at the low crowds. We were expecting horrible waits. However, the only ride that topped an hour was The Simpsons (being new and all). We never waited more than 20 minutes for anything. Was awesome to say the least. I would have been disappointed had we did the FOTL thing. Would have been a huge waste of money. Enjoy your trip.

I'm sure you won't regret staying onsite and I can assure you...you WILL get spoiled.
