How many stamps do you usually need per invitation? I'm thinking 2 or 3. We aren't doing anything overly big. Just the invitation and the RSVP card. Want to buy stamps before prices go up again.

Just for inside or for postage costs? If stamps go
up you would still need to have the appropriate postage on the invite. Also you'd want to weight the invite and make sure it isn't a special size or needs special handling. I did all that and the ones I nailed went as I was told and got there, my husband mailed a stack and they said it wouldbe more $$.

We actually ended up needing two- but it was actually cheaper to buy 64 cent stamps then putting two stamps on our invites. Saved a little money! :goodvibes

And they were cute wedding cakes! :)

It goes by weight, so if you have a sample you can take it to the post office and they will tell you. Make sure you buy Forever stamps.

Yup, have it weighed at the post office! They will tell you how many stamps you need. We were like right on the edge of being okay with one regular stamp - so I went with the 64 cent stamps just in case other invites were slightly heavier for some reason.

Ours were $.64 for the invite and then the regualr forever stamp for the response card.
