Stamped concrete?

HAs anyone done a pation or walkway with the stamped concrete? It looks nice but I'm afraid to even ask for a quote.

We re-did (is that a word?) the cement around our house 5 yrs ago with stamped concrete. To get a good sized patio, a good sized front porch (about 14x5 feet), the walkway up to the front porch, the sidewalk to the back patio and 18 inch borders on a new driveway (driveway is plain concrete) done it cost us $10,000.

Well, for little ones running around it can be; usually only after you've just re-sealed it is it really slick.

We just did it a few months ago and LOVE it. Looks great, lots of compliments (no picture right now).

The quotes we got back were cheaper than doing brick.

we just had ours done last week. it looks great and we are very happy. we had a 15 by 25 patio done and a walk way 4 by 8 made for around $4000. ours was done by our neighbor thats why we got such a good deal.

We had ours done about three years ago. The patio is about 12' x 12' and cost about $3000. We do LOVE it though and use it EVERYDAY in the summer. It has held up very well but probably could use re-sealed.

How does it hold up? I've heard that it fades much more so than ceramic tile pavers, etc.
