Stalking FP after 30 days?

After the 30 day window, I'm trying to decide if it makes any sense to keep stalking for different times / rides. Now that anyone coming can also make their FP choices, it seems like the chance that I'll get anything different at this point is next to nil.

Does that track or have people had different experiences?

I've had good luck scoring some hard-to-get FP by occasionally checking the app before last-minute trips where initially all the headliners were booked up. I have found that day-of FP work out well too with people changing their plans. Last trip, I couldn't get SDD for my first day when I booked at 60 days, but I got it 3 times the day of by refreshing. Good luck!

I have been pretty lucky with the stalking method-regardless of how far out. Actually, the farther out, the less luck I have had due to people holding on to things until their plans solidify. Good luck.

I always say keep checking! I got FoP 9 days before my late October trip last year. Also day of around 10:30ish Ive been able to secure same day FPs.

Yeah, I guess I can see 'day of' or even 'few days before' possibly being useful for exactly that reason. But I'm feeling like, 20 days before... I'm just wasting my time. :-/

Depends how bad you want it. Faspasses are being changed and updated by thousands of people every day/hour. I definitely don't think it is a waste of time to try periodically every day.

it's still possible as people change plans, but you would have to stalk the MDE FP and keep checking. not a great chance.
A better strategy is to check the day of while you are at the park. much better success rate that way than a few days/weeks before the planned visit day. Many people change plans day of and things pop up a lot even for headliners (FOP, 7DMT, SDD, etc.)

I have done 2 week long trips in the last year (about to have my last trip on my APs in November), and I concur with this statement. I stalked FPs daily .. MULTI-daily. And a few things changed, but they were not the top tier headliners .. maybe more like, changing where my FPs were in relation to where I would be walking in the park.

But as far as getting the big names, if you don't get them before 30 days out (and that's when I start cause I never stay onsite), then about 5 days before the trip, I start looking again because that's when people start really making changes in their plans. "Day of" is pretty dang good too. But I think day before is the best.

I am now doing FP stalking again! I switched my days around to do two Halloween parties, and lost my FOP FP. It won't be the end of the world if I miss it this trip (did it last time, will do it again in January/May). I'm 8 days out from my trip -- 11 from my AK day. Hoping I'll have luck getting one either before or day of. I'll be looking for late afternoon/evening.

I'm still looking as peoples plans change, park hours change and new Fps become available.
I figure it doesn't hurt to watch, and maybe get lucky.

After 30 days I got 7DMT, then modified it from 10:45am to 9:30am.
I also got an evening FOP when they extended hours and opened more FP.
It’s definitely worth still checking.
Last year I got Navi for 5 a few days before. I realize it’s not the big draw it once was, but this time last year I was very pleased with that. (And then we rode it like huh that’s nice. Let’s not do that again.....LOL)

For our last trip we got FOP at day 40 even though we couldn't get it at day 60. We also were able to get many hard to get fastpasses while we were there. Keep hitting refresh.

My bf and I got a FOP FP day of in March. Hoping I can trade out Navi for that next week.

We are 25 days out and I am not having much luck in changing anything. I am hoping things become more flexible as I get closer. I can't even change the Safari from afternoon to morning at this point let alone some of the big ticket rides.

I'm less than 2 weeks out and managed to find FP+ for my friends who are meeting up with me at MK (kinda spur of the moment) for Mine Train! We're not quite in the same window - theirs ends (with grace period) at 12:45 and mine starts (with grace period) at 1. We're checking daily, and I'll check with the concierge at my resort to see if we can get in the same window. Worst-case, they'll go through as far as they need to for tapstiles at the end of their window and just let people pass them until I get through at the beginning of mine.

But it can happen!

I had no luck in my late June/early July trip with any days before we arrived, and I checked a lot, but I had great luck with day-of additional FPs. I got everything in MK and Epcot, and even got FOP after about two hours of refreshing. Did not get SDD but we were there on day two of TSL opening. Every other ride was easy to get.

I check daily. Sometimes you get lucky with the headliners, more often not. I was able to move my FOP fastpass earlier around 40 days. On past trips I have gotten 7DMT at less than 30 days out.

Refresh is pretty good, but always better to have it ahead of time. I could not get SDD same day despite refreshing literally all day long while walking, in ride queues, and at meals. Pretty much everything else became available with same day refresh, though.
