Stalking DISers.... continue here

I know but I'm networking at the same time. I wouldn't trade it for the world, the friends who I was friends with last year at this time are no longer part of my life and I've made new friends who share the same interests as me.

I'm preparing for Disney in a good way, I'm doing the CMA Fest for the first time so I'm going to be going from sunup to midnight for four days, plus all that walking.

I'm going to work on getting a blog up so I can post all the pictures i have.

Hey Kari!! Welcome to our new thread! You're still just as funny as ever...:rotfl:

Hey Laura!! Glad you're back too.

Renee - the beach looks wonderful...I'm glad you had fun!

Wendy - I know you are happy that Maggie isn't going too far from home. I did the same thing...University of Alabama was a little over an hour away from home for me. I'm glad I went there...it was far enough away to grow up but not too far that I couldn't come home if I needed to. :)

Mandy - not too much longer until your birthday!! I'm glad that school is working out for you and you are having fun with your CM networking!!

All of this trip talk is making me want to go back...we are seriously thinking about going for quick 4 day trip in December. We have never seen WDW decorated at Christmastime.

Renee can give you advice about those colorful drinks! You better slow down on those concerts for awhile chicky. You're supposed to go broke IN WDW, not before you get there.

Renee... go get some sleep. I'm sure you have a lot of trip planning to work on tomorrow! I think you should go cruisin with me in Oct... :rolleyes1 Don't tell Bob it was my idea, though!

uh oh, going to get a reputation here... :drinking1

We will be married 25 years in 2011.... (and Dana will be graduating HS) At first, I thought we would throw ourselves a big party - like a fancy cocktail party - but after planning Dad's 70th this past year and Mom's this year - I said FORGET IT. lol We are going on a cruise, instead! We will take Dana, since we only have one and feel weird leaving her. We LOVED the week long Disney Cruise, and after hearing others talk about the staterooms being much bigger than other cruiselines, I think we are going to do a repeat with Disney. (Dana wants to go on the European Disney cruise - but it's MY anniversary, I GET TO PICK. :bride: ...poor Bob never seems to get a say around here.... He just pays the bills....:lmao: )

Hi SOnya! I know... I'm getting withdrawals, too. When we go down in October, we will not be going to the parks. So I have figured a way to work some cheap WDW into my plan. We will stay at ASMo or POP (the kids always wanted to stay there) and go to DTD and Fantasia Gardens 1 night, the campfire and movie at Fort Wilderness the other.

We will be married 25 years in 2011.

Congrats! That is just around the corner! Book your cruise ASAP when the rates are released, since the price goes up quickly. My cruise has gone up $2000 since I first looked into it. :scared1:

We will celebrate our 15 yr anniversary this Feb. Some ways time has flown, and other ways... :rolleyes1

That sounds like a fun way to get your WDW fix while you are there!! Other than DTD we have never done any of those. I think you will like Pop...we do!

Yes, that is the key to cruise booking...book early for the best prices. Sometimes it's hard to plan that far in advance though.

Welcome Linda.... sounds like you have your hands full at home.... I am Wendy... I have two children Maggie (age 18) and Daniel (age 15) and a wonderful husband Tim.... who doesn't like Disney but goes because the rest of us do.... we live just north of Syracuse NY where I am a realtor and a substitute teacher... Tim works for the American Red Cross and is retired military.... Maggie is graduating from high school in a couple of months and will be off to college next year:sad2: Daniel is busy in just about every sport you can imagine... they are both wonderful kids and I feel very fortunate.... we are frequent Disney visitors... although now with Maggie going off to college that may stop (she is really my partner in crime....)... I love to plan Disney trips... if not for myself then for others....

Nice to meet everyone! Anyone going to Disney soon??

Hey strangers

Hi everyone. I've been away for a while too. Hope everyone is well. We leave in 8 weeks for our end of May trip and I am so excited!
Renee, so sorry about your niece. That is tragic. I'll be praying for her and all of you.

Good, we are going for 5 nights at the end of August. since we had the 40% off code, we decided to book WL (with bunk beds). we booked Akershus and Crystal Palace for breakfast and Sci-Fi, Coral Reef and Chef Mickey's for dinner.

we bought the girls some disney luggage (HSM for the older one and Tink for the younger one) bought them a grab bag of 25 pins. I have a co-worker going to Disney next month, he is going to pick me up some landyards.

Unfortunatly, the older one has kinda figured it out that we are taking them to Disney sometime in the near future:guilty:

Thanks for all your prayers... please keep them coming ... :flower3:

Has anyone ever done "personalized menus" at WDW? How do you have it done? I thought Dana would get a kick out of it when we go to Rose & Crown (her favorite - NOT mine. lol) :cheer2:

Rags: the grab bags sound great. what a nice aunt & uncle you are!!! when are you going again? I can't keep track of things lately - too much going on...

Wendy: How is Maggie feeling? Is she up to the trip? princess:

Rags - don't answer the "when are you going?" geesh... all I had to do was READ..... forgive me... WAY too much going on...:guilty:

Now, what you need to do is take a vacation this summer with Scilla and go wherever. Tell the girls you are/have been to WDW. If they think you just went, they will not be expecting a trip. If asked, tell them maybe next summer... or my favorite line as a mom "I'll think about it." ;)

Where did you get the grab bags? I'm thinking about letting the kids pin trade this fall.

Keep an eye out for Free Dining...from what I understand it is supposed to come out sometime this week.

I'm interested in the pin grab bags too...where did you get them?
