Hey!

Sorry I haven't replied to everyone's comment of my wedding pictures, thanks.....I am still waiting for the darn video and it's almost a year since we got married!

Courtney....the 4D sonogram is amazing! I am sure you are itching to meet Emerson.....shoot I am waiting around here for rags to knock me up, but NOOOOOOO, have to wait til after Disney this summer cause he doesn't want little me prego in the heat.....WHATEVER.....

So for now I just play with all my babies at work...Rags thought that might be birht control in itself for me, for having to take care of little tiny newborns for 12 hours over night, but it just makes me itch more for my own little girl/boy.......

Hey ya'll, I've been somewhat MIA lately. School this semester is insane, I have exactly 53 days left at my current college before I can transfer.

My sister has been offered a job at St. Thomas, she has been at her current job at the hospital for over 30 years and well I won't tell you what I think of the way things are done there. Don't know if she's going to take it or not but if she does, she'll be living in Murfreesboro,where I'll be going to school so we'll be able to share a place, if she does take the job.

I have 34 days left till I'm 21 and I can have a maragita in Mexico.

Okay I'm going back to sticking my nose to biology and trying to pass with a D.

Boy friends I have had a crazy couple of days.... Daniel was snowmobiling and hit the handlebars - got knocked out and we thought he broke his jaw... turns out to be a severe case of TMJ instead... so he will be fine - just uncomfortable...
then there has been some crazy stuff happening from the band trip to Florida in Feb... it seems that 4 kids brought some liquor and drank it one night in the hotel after lights out... well they of course were suspended for 5 days for bringing it... but anyone who knew about it got suspended... and guess what... Daniel heard about it on the bus ride home so because he didn't go to the administration and turn them in he was suspended for 2 days... needless to say we were angry.... not so much at Daniel but more so at the school... he wasn't involved in any way and only heard rumors and because he is a pretty popular kid they questioned him first... and was suspended anyway..... all in all they ended up suspending 14 kids JUST FOR HEARING RUMORS ABOUT IT and not turing the kids in... at that point the rest of the kids realized it was better to lie.... what the heck are we teaching them..... we actually ended up going into the school and having it documented in our kids student records that the staff could not speak to our children without one of us present...... it was like they were on a witch hunt....
and if all that nonsense wasn't enough the school nurse called yesterday and Maggie had collapsed at school with pains in her side.... after a long night at the hospital they ruled out her appendix (not sure how to spell it).... but the poor thing is in so much pain -after 10 hours of test and IV's they sent her home and said they would call us in the morning to determine the next course of action.... well she is upstairs sleeping.... was in tears most of the night.....

okay.... so I am done with my self pity party... on the bright side.... my Mom decided at 35 days out that she wanted to join us for our trip in April.... I was able to get her a flight (very expensive though) and change some of our ADRs - had to cancel LeCellier though....but I did add an afternoon tea at the Grand FLoridian for her, Maggie and I... that should be fun.... its a good thing the SOG hotel comfortably fits 5 people.... the kids are really excited as they love doing things with my mom.... she is tons of fun.... and she loves the MK - this will be her first time at the Flower and Garden festival....

WOW Wendy! I hope things settled down for you.
Any word back on Maggie's tests? Maybe a cyst burst? Actually a common occurance in teenage girls... Poor thing - hope she feels better.

I think that is terrible what happened to Daniel! Will colleges have access to that ridiculous suspension? I would be so annoyed with the school.

Nice that your mom is joining you on your April trip. enjoy!

Sonya, if you ever have the chance, you must visit NYC - there is no other place on earth like it. It truly is the "City That Never Sleeps"! Although we live only 30 minutes away, we still like to stay overnight when we go.. there is just too much to see and do to try and cram it into one day, and fight with parking/commuting. We try to stay for a night or two every year. Next show on our list is "Mary Poppins"... maybe we'll try during the summer....

I'm hoping to go sometime in the next couple of years. I thought of Dana tonight...I went to a home party for someone that was selling personalized notecards, calling cards, etc. Well, there was a design that was pink and brown and had a saddle, riding boots, a riding helmet & a brown dog on it that could be personalized...it was sooo cute!!

Wendy - I'm sorry that you have had such a rough time lately. That is crazy what happened to Daniel!! Please keep us updated on Maggie...I hope she is doing better tonight.

Mandy - that would be great if you and your sister could live together at your new school!! Good luck with the rest of the semester!!

I got to looking at what I need and what classes of mine transferred and out of all my 15 hours maybe only two are actual classes and the rest are electives and here's the kicker, out of all those only one counts towards my degree. Pass me a drink, I just wasted 2000 dollars if that on classes that don't count.

Oh, Dana would have loved those! She has a set that are pink and brown with a bridle on them. Doesn't want to use them, they are too pretty!

Sorry to hear that, Mandy. Unfortunately, it seems to be the norm with colleges - especially when you transfer. They want the money for the courses. Bob tried to transfer his MBA credits to NJ from University of Michigan... he was more than half way through when we got engaged and he wanted to move to NJ... Fairleigh Dickenson wouldn't take IVY LEAGUE University of Michigan credits! He ended up staying in Michigan to finish - only took one course at Fairleigh as a "guest" right at the end of his MBA. Absolutely ridiculous. (Worked out better for him - he much rather a graduate degree from the University of Michigan! Go Blue! ) Good luck in your "adventure"!

Hello all... we are in the hospital with Maggie... had to take her back and have been here since yesterday morning. I am watching her sleep now.... it seems to be the only time she is comfortable. It looks like the are going to take her appendix (spelling????) out either tonight or tomorrow. She seems to be handling it well. The school seems to be working with us on getting her work together... Daniel is back at school..... he says they are still questioning kids.... we told him not to talk to anyone.... the only exciting thing is that we are now 30 DAYS from our trip..... I am sure everything will be back to normal by then.... thanks for all your kind words....

Maggie had her surgery this morning... she seems to be resting well... very sore...but that will pass... they said she will need to stay at least another day... its been a long couple of days ... the staff at the hospital has been great.... I officially started saving for our next trip today. Twice a year there is a children's clothes consignment sale that I use to get rid of things my girls have outgrown and to make money for our Disney fund. Well, I went & picked up the items that didn't sale and my check today...I made $227!! I told my boss that I made enough to pay the deposit on our next trip and she said "Isn't there anywhere else you want to go?"...I told her yes but for now with the ages of my girls Disney is the perfect place to go. She said that we should go see the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone...yes, those are on our list of places to go but we need to wait till Alyssa is a little older...she's just 4. Then she told me that we only have about 2 more years of Amanda wanting to go on vacation with us. So we need to go somewhere other than Disney. Just because her kid didn't want to go on vacation with the family doesn't mean that mine won't!! Can you tell I'm still fired up about it...what business is it of hers where we choose to go on vacation anyway? Sorry...I guess I just needed to vent.

So I'm going to tell people that understand...I made enough to money for the doeposit on our next trip!! We're thinking about a quick trip in early December since we have never seen the Christmas decorations.

Just because her kid didn't want to go on vacation with the family doesn't mean that mine won't!! Hello all.... we are home... they release her today but she is on SIX WEEKS of restrictions... no school for at least anothe week, no dance or gym or 6 weeks..... no work for a couple of weeks.....she is not a happy camper..lol... you want to know the scary thing.... her she is in the hospital with her favorite stuffed animal and the blanket her boyfriend made her and they are having her sign all the permission to do the surgery.... she is 18.... it about broke my heart.... there was my baby laying there in pain and it was like they didn't need me.... boy.... all that pain of child birth, raising them, taking care of them and POOF in an instant they don't need us..... well after the shock wore off.... and I heard her say" Mommy is it okay to sign..." I knew I was safe for just a little longer.....

By the way.... our kids LOVE to do things with us.... they tell everyone we are tons of fun.... Maggie doesn't know that I have seen it but on her MYSPACE comments she has that her hero is her Mom..... so I guess she will need me for a little while longer....
