Does anyone have the new stain concrete floors that they are putting in the house today? I know they put something on them and then a gloss. I don't know exactly what is used or how it is done. And I was wondering if it has to be done right after the concrete has been poured and set or it you can pull up your vinyl flooring and do that? Does anyone have any idea??

I dont know how they do it, but we have 2 new superwalmarts and both of them have the stained concrete floors. I am sure they are happy no more waxing.

My in-laws live in San Antonio, TX and they have these floors. They were all the rage in Texas a few years back but not so much anymore. I think you can stain them at anytime, but do remember they are incredibly cold and unforgiving on your feet. My brother-in-law lived with them for a while and he is the barefoot King and hated how much his feet hurt.

My in-laws love them because the maintenance is non-existent! :goodvibes
