Like mom use to say: "Because *I* said so".

Add me to the list of waiting to hear an answer. I think I've been waiting 2-3 months so far and haven't heard a thing from them. I've basically given up on being a CL.

I'm guessing since you haven't heard from them, the answer is NO.

It's like job hunting. They generally only call you, *if* they want to come work for them. They don't want to deal with you after turning you down.

I am definitely not seeing what is going on here.

In the real world outside of VMK, if you send in an application for a job and are not accepted, you rarely get a letter saying so. Why should VMK be different? I think everyone needs to stop assuming that those who do not get a letter back are being ignored for this reason. Perhaps you were not accepted now, but that certainly does not mean you would be in the future. So, my advice would be to wait a few months, apply again and maybe you will get it! Try, try, try again! Like a bike...but, it will only work if you stay POSITIVE!

well i do try and try! Only once did i get a letter. And i sent it in with the answers, and nothing in return!
